Last Sunday I preached on Hebrews 5-10 (sort of), while focusing in on the application in 10:19-25. I would love for you to listen, and to give any comments below. Mahalo!

The Bible in 100 Words
Scripture shows the relationship that God desires to have with man through Christ, which glorifies Himself. This Triune God created everything, including man. Man rebelled, breaking their perfect relationship with God. However, God wants to build a kingdom of His people, and initiates a covenant relationship with a chosen people, Israel. But Israel rebels as well. God was faithful to His covenant, and sent His Son to incarnate as man, live sinlessly, die in man’s place, and resurrect victoriously. The Spirit is now sent to indwell believers, the Church, to live Kingdom lives until Christ returns, completely restoring that relationship.

Psalm 117
Psalm 117 summarizes the entire Psalter. We should shout out in praise to YHWH because of His faithful, loyal love that He consistently demonstrates to us, in spite of our sinfulness.
Praise the LORD, all you nations;
extol him, all you peoples.
For great is his love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.
Praise the LORD
Galatians Reading
I recently sat down and read Galatians a few times in its entirety. I challenged my students to do the same and then share their thoughts on Paul’s letter as well as what the Spirit taught them through reading it in one sitting. I am going to allow them to respond (as well as anyone else who wants to participate) and then share my thoughts and lessons learned as well.
